Sinjin's 6!! April 16, 2011

 Where has the time gone!?  When we moved into our new house here in Washington City, Sinjin was just 2 months old!  6 years later, and we are still here!  We are thrilled about it too.  We have such great friends, neighbors and Ward Members.

Sinjin just LOVES soccer, so naturally, we had a soccer themed party.  I am loving my new 2" circle cutter.  I made the little cupcake toppers and Sinjin wanted a big cookie for his "cake" so I made him a big sugar cookie and decorated it like a soccer ball.

 We bought his friends some sports bottles and filled them with candy and a little soccer hackey sack.  I had their names cut out of vinyl along with a soccer ball.  Fun!

Kade is 4 months old!

What a blessing and a joy!  We love little Kade so much and he is having so much fun laughing and smiling at us!  Well, with the exception of when mommy kisses his face off!  Ha ha!

 We had a lot of fun making these Easter Egg Nests today.  I just made them like rice krispy treats, added chocolate chips and instead of rice krispy's, I used Chinese noodles.  Yummo!  Then you place a Peep on the top to take care of the eggs, so cute!

General Conference Spring 2011

We had a lot of fun this year with General Conference.  It's my favorite thing to look forward to in the Spring, of course along with Easter!  This year we used an idea I found online where you have bowls with candy and a key word for each bowl.  Then as the kids listen to the talks, they can take one candy from the bowl with the key word that they heard.  It worked GREAT!  You should try it!

Then we had a lot of fun making "Bunny Buns" to bring with us to our cousin's house.  Yummy!  We found the recipe from the Friend Magazine here.

Sinjin's quirks.

I just had to post this pic I took of Sinjin when he wasn't looking. He is so quirky! We love him so much. After school he gets out his book and homework but he just can't sit still.  He is bouncing up and down as he does his math, writes one spelling word then has to spin around, hang upside down while reading his book as he sings the words out loud to his own made up tune!  I think after a full day of being good and listening to the teacher, he is ready to let out all his energy, and I get to witness it every day!  He is such a fun person to be around.  He is always singing, running, sword fighting, spinning, wrestling, laughing, talking loudly (so he can be heard over the other kids), throwing, kicking a ball, and much much more!  But then you catch him is his quiet moments and he is such a sweet heart.  Coloring, painting, folding paper, rocking Kade to sleep, sitting on my lap, playing with my hair, helping others and much much more.  I just loved this picture so much, it deserved it's own post.

So, let's start with the worst picture first. That way we can get it over with and move on!  My sweet family woke me up with breakfast in bed and presents.  Do not click on the picture to make it bigger! LOL!

 For Saint Patricks Day, Amara left a little note in her shoes for the Leprechauns!  It say's: Dear Lepheroan, Welcome, to, the, Shoo, home, ingoy, your, self, intel, you, her, scwing, run
!
Ha ha!  She is so cute!  What she means is: "Dear Leprechaun, Welcome to the shoe home.  Enjoy yourself until you hear squeaking, RUN!"  Their beds squeak, so that means they will be waking up.  LOL!  I love her!
