Sand Hollow Reservoir- July 16, 2011

This was Lacey and Randy's favorite place to hang out.  That's because they look good in a swimming suit.  Me, not so much.  I could take it or leave it.  Sand... HOT.  Not kidding.  BURN your feet.  Also, sand is not the funnest thing to clean up out of your car, stroller, bags, etc.
I love these cute butts.  Trey (Lacey's baby) and Sinjin with his swimming trunks that are way too big for him.  They are safety pinned in the back!  Ha ha!
Sinjin and Trey are best friends.
I think Trey things sand tastes good.
Playing in the sand at the beach is fun though.  Especially because the sand here is red.

This is how you eat an otter pop- July 2011

Want to know how to eat an otter pop?   First you lug a chubby baby to the park and play until you get hot.
Make sure you have the otter pops in a cooler, otherwise they will melt, duh. ;)

When you have worked up a nice sweat, you rip them open with your teeth.  Who needs scissors?
Throw the top away.  Do not eat it.
 Ahhhh, much better.

And if you are a baby, you just sit on your sisters lap and suck on the cold otter pop that is hanging out of her mouth.

 Like so...

July 4th 2011- Parade and Fireworks

We actually went to a parade. It's a miracle, cause Thane hates them. I like parades, but I hate the crowds. Saint George's crowd wasn't that bad because all the sane people get the heck out of there in the summer when they can. Not us, we LOVE melting in the heat.(sarcastic tone implied)

The main reason we went to the parade was so that the kids could march with their school.  The thought they were the "Bee's Knees".

If you look closely, you can see them in the back there....
Best Picture Ever, they are all smiling.  Miracle.
Kade really liked this part...
Yes, his shirt say's "I'm made in America". True story.
And the end of the most exciting parade in history. (sarcastic tone again)
I love my kids.
Of course we had to make these awesome strawberries.  So yummy.

"Whoa, that's bright"
The best place to watch the fireworks from, Foremaster Ridge.

Our family, mad we look hot, or sunburned, or both.
The Plett's, including Tiernan
I had fun with my slow shutter speed.
