BFF's

This is Amara with one of her "BFF's", Emery. The are "totally" talking like tween girls now. It's sad that they try to grow up so fast, but it's the cutest thing ever. Amara got to play with Elle and Emery today (a very special treat for her) and she said "I get to play with my 2 BFF's today, and they do to because I am their BFF!" Anyway, they love to bring in "flowers" for me, and I thought it would be fun to get a picture of them. I love weeds, my children give them to me as presents all the time. I love that they think of me when the see a weed :) Oh sorry, FLOWER!

They also found these cool little leaves and noticed that they were in the shape of a heart.
This is why my kids come in crying when they play in the sand, they don't understand that when they pick the sand up, it will "BLOW IN YOUR EYES!!!"

Tiernan got GLASSES!

Tiernan started complaining about headaches at school, and when I asked her if she liked to read, she said, "No, because that's when I get headaches". So, we asked her teacher what she thought, and she told us to take her to the Optometrist. He found out that she was Far Sighted. He said the glasses would help her eyes relax and help her headaches go away. So off to Costco we went (we couldn't afford the ones at the eye doctor, although we wanted them really badly!). Tiernan was so excited to find out that they had a similar pair there, and we ordered them. The lady said, they will be done in about 2 weeks or less. Well she could have just torn Tiernan's heart out of her chest, because Tiernan wanted to have them right then! Well today we went to pick them up. They sized them to fit her perfectly, and gave her the High School Musical case they came with, and she has been on Cloud 9 ever since. Doesn't she look so cute, and smart?

She was sick of me taking pictures... That's why her face looks like this!

Amara is silly!

The other day we were on our way to the preschool after Amara’s kindergarten day (she hates Wednesday’s because of it) and she said, “Mom, did you know everything in our world is made out of sticks?” This is just one of the very many “deep” things Amara comes up with daily.

I said “Really!”

She said “Yeah! Look at all the light poles, the bridge, and to make letters, you need sticks!” (This is when I realized she was talking about lines, not literally sticks!) “To make an A all you need is 3 sticks!” “Jesus was smart to do that, huh mom?”

I know these pictures are late, but this is our Valentines Day Tradition... These were only for MOM!
