GO TEAM GO!

A while ago I bought a Bella Cheer-Ella toy game at a yard sale and the girls have been hooked on cheerleading ever since! When we found out that the High School does a little one week clinic put on by the Cheerleaders, we couldn't pass it up! The Cheerleaders were so cute and good with the kids, my girls just LOVED it! They practiced for 4 days then performed at the High School Football Game Half Time. They got a t-shirt too! They felt like real cheerleaders! Luckily, Nana was here to share it with us!
Here is Amara in the dark purple pants and white tennis shoes! See the cheerleader right by her! Her leg is perfect...that's cause I was one of her teachers at Diamond Talent! ;)

Tait, I told you not to...

Yes, while I was away, my sweet son did the dishes for me! He used liquid soap instead of dishwasher soap and this is what happened!

And here is his ingenious way to drain the dishwasher so it didn't have to keep running and making more bubbles! What a smart boy!

Tiernan's 9th Birthday 10-10-09

Tiernan's Birthday started out with the traditional breakfast in bed! Tiernan's favorite, Belgian Waffles with Strawberries and Whipped Cream and sausage, made by her loving family :) Here is Tait carefully carrying it to her room.
She emerged from her bedroom about 30 minutes later, stuffed to the brim and opened her one and only present from all of us!! A new iPod Nano (that takes video now, cool huh?) of course it was blue, Tiernan's favorite color!
She also got $10 to spend on music of course! She spend a good hour listening to songs on iTunes and still hasn't decided what to buy! That's Tiernan for you :D Here is a picture taken with my phone.... it doesn't take good pictures!
Later on that day, we went to a party at Thane's boss' house. It was a blast! His house is literally like Disneyland! There is a pond with paddle boats, sand volleyball, a huge tree house (actually stuccoed and built like a real house), an awesome pool, an indoor slide and trampoline etc. She was in heaven and didn't want to leave when the time was up! Later that night we gave her the option to go to a movie or out to dinner, she chose a movie (her favorite). It was such a great day! We love you Tiernan! P.S. I forgot! Tiernan and Amara got their ears pierced that day also! Phew! A full day!
