Tait!

Tait has been hard at work entering almost everything the school puts on.

He was in the storytelling festival a few weeks ago and he did so great. He loves books and loves to tell stories, and he has an amazing voice that everyone can hear, so he is great at it. He won in his genre, so he gets to go on to the District Competition.

He also entered the Reflections contest for art and entered a sculpture of a 5 legged one eyed monster. It was really cool, and he received an honorable mention medal.

Way to go Tait, we are so proud of you!

Ella and Sinjin in the Sandbox

Ella and Sinjin were having fun in the sandbox the other day, I just had to take pictures! Ella had on an apron with a big pocket which she and Sinjin filled up with sand. They were having fun seeing how full it could get.

Family Pictures 11/12/08

We tried to go and take our own family pictures.... It doesn't work very well when there is no one behind the camera to click the button when everyone looks right! This one is okay, except for Tiernans hair is bugging me, and I am hiding part of Thane's face. The place that I wanted to take pictures at was not where I thought it was, so we just found a cool crevasse out a Red Cliffs.

Veterans Day

Here we are on Veterans Day at the Washington City Park. They had all of these flags posted to celebrate, and I had to stop and take pictures. Tait wanted to stay home, so he is not in the pics. We are so thankful to be living in America. Thank you to all who have fought for our freedom.

Choir Concert, Veterans Day 11/10/08

Here is dark shot of the Elementary School Choir Concert. I am the Director, and I was really scared about how well the children knew the songs. I was pleasantly surprized at how well they sang the songs. They sang them proudly, and it was really fun. We had a lot of solo's too from the kids. Would you have done that at that age? I was too shy. Great job Tait, Carter and Caden with the flag ceremony!!

Dogs

Sinjin loves dogs, as I am typing this he is outside playing with Sadie. Here is a cute shot of Sinjin with Sadie and our neighbors dog who loves to look over the wall and whine because he cant come play!! Isn't it cute?

Just Playin' Around

Here is Tait and Sinjin having fun on their bikes. Thane thought it would be a good idea to take Sinjin's training wheels off and see how he did. Sinjin is only 3!!! I said. But you know Thane, he had to try it. Needless to say, the the training wheels are back on.
