Kami's Graduation

My sister in law Kami graduated from High School last week.  We are so proud of her.  She is an excellent student.  Here are a few pics from the evening.

Megan gave Kami her first "Million!"
Thane, Caresa, Jared, Honey, Kami, Tammie, Rusty, Leif, Seth and Steven.  Just some of the family :)
Kami and Tanisha, sisters.
Kami and her Parents.
I thought this was really funny!  These people are Polynesian, and they had so many leis for this grad, that he couldn't even see anymore! :D

Paragliding and a Picnic for Memorial Day

I just love this picture of Thane throwing Sinjin up in the beautiful blue/cloudy sky, please ignore my negligence to clean the lens :(

And Tiernan and Lydia rolling around on the grass, freezing to death from the wind!
And another favorite, ruined by the many dust bunnies on the lens :(  I'll fix it later in photoshop :)
I just thought this picture was really cool with the three gliders in a line.
Here Thane is trying to keep his glider up in the choppy wind.  I love the pictures of my kids watching him, and not flying next to him.  I will be having heart attacks when they decide they want to fly.
Tiernan just finishing a cartwheel, and daddy's glider falling down in the background.  He never did fly that night the wind was too bad.

Memorial Day Picnic with the Belnap Family.

Uncle Rusty brought his Frisbee golf along and told Tiernan that for every goal she made he would give her $5.  She took this literally because when she was done, she had racked up $100.  When she told him what he owed her, he said, I wish I had a hundred dollars!  Just so you know Rusty, she is going to hold you to it and never let you forget.
Grandpa Belnap holding Pheonix (Caresa's Son)  He is such a good grandpa.  And Tammie sitting next to him.
Sinjin never let's his aunts and uncles rest!  He climbs all over them and they make sure they take turns getting the workout.  Here he is harassing Kami.
And Tait's new favorite thing, a long board.  He wants one for his birthday.  Here he is taking Lydia (our friends daughter) for a ride.  He is such a good babysitter :)

We had a blast with the Belnaps!  We love it when Steven comes home from Afghanistan.

2010 Preschool Graduate, Sinjin Belnap!

I can't believe Sinjin has offically graduated from preschool!  We had such a blast together this year.  I have loved every minute of being my kids preschool teachers.  I love spending time with them while working.  Now let's talk about Sinjins face in the picture above.  What's the deal?  Aren't they the cutest though?  There were 13 kids in their class this year.  And we will be moving the preschool to a different location next year, so goodbye Diamond Talent.

In our preschool they start learning violin when they are in the 2nd half of the 4 year old class.  Sinjin is using his practice violin, and Ella and Luke, his best buds, are beside him.
Here they are doing their dance... it was the cutest!  We had the BEST dance teacher this year!~
Here Sinjin is receiving his diploma and treat bag from mommy :)

Soccer Season 2010

We start off with Tiernan defending her goal, I was very surprised at how competitive she was!  She loves soccer!  This was her first year playing and she is a natural.  The only thing she doesn't like is when the other girls are mean.  I told her she will have to get used to that :(  Tiernan's only lost one game because they had to forfeit because they didn't have enough players, but they played anyway and the score was 2-1 in their favor.

And here is Tait.  His position most of the season was defender.  He was great at it.  His team only lost one game also, but they played them again in the last game and won.  They actually tied in the allotted time they had to play, but then they had to have 2 kick offs.  A lot of the dad's were mad from the other team because they thought the score was different, so Tait had his first taste of "parents living through their children" and dad's throwing fits like children at a sporting event.  Too bad that we just cant play a game huh!?  The ref was awesome though, and yelled right back at the dad's :)
Tait saying "YEEAAHHH"  after his team scored a goal!
Defending!
Throwing the ball out to his team mate.
I was Amara's coach along with a friend from the neighborhood.  This is the only good shot Thane could get of Amara running with the ball.  She is in the silver uniform with the ball, look closely.  She is a little spit fire too!  She can run faster than any of the girls she play's against, so her and her good friend Elle were alway's stealing the ball away and running it down the field.  She is a great soccer player too, when her asthma isn't bugging her :(
Look at that sweet face!  Remind you of Grandma Mattson?
And here is our little future photographer... Tiernan.  She had a blast taking pictures at Taits game.

Gymnastics!

Here are Amara and Tiernan after the last performance in their Gymnastics/Dance class. They love gymnastics and dance and especially love their teachers, Miss Amy and Miss Annette :) We had a blast going to Amy's house every Thursday during the school year. My girls learned so much! Amara has her back handspring down and Tiernan can do a back walkover like it's nobody's business! I'm so proud of them!

Volunteering at the Iron Man

We had the opportunity to volunteer at the Iron Man in Saint George.  It was such a great experience event though we just held open a trash bag for the athletes :)  I was really inspired by these people (and also thought, "I will never be doing this!").  I was surprised by the different ages and body types that were there.  These people are amazing.  Can you imagine swimming in freezing cold water, then bicycling for EVER, then running for even more EVER!?  Great job everyone!!
