Pioneer Day BBQ and "Wuffle" Ball Game!

My kids and I drove my mother home after she so willingly came down and baby sat for me during girls camp. She lives in Pleasant Grove and a bunch of our family live up there, so we decided to stay for 5 days so the kids could spend time with them. We had a lot of fun! Playing with cousins, going to the park, 7-Peaks, and garage saleing! On Friday, Pioneer Day, we had a lot of fun at a BBQ at my uncle John's house in P.G. We decided we would play a "friendly" game of "Wuffle" ball. The Mattson's and the Williamsons are very competitive families, so it was a very interresting game! There were a lot of interresting posts on Facebook leading up to the big game! I just sit back and laugh!! My sister told me I was being Sweden. :) After a very tense game, the Williamson's were victorious by ONE POINT! Very funny. :) We finnished the night off with Aunt Bev's famous brownies and some fireworks in the front yard. It was great! I hate to admit this, but as we were walking out of the house to make the long drive back to St. George on Saturday, my sister was sitting and fixing her daughters hair and found lice!!! :( We knew for sure that Tiernan had it also because they had been sleeping next to each other the whole week! YUCK! It wasn't so bad in Tiernan's hair and we didn't see any in Amara's, Tait's or Sinjin's , but we washed everyone's hair anyway with the acid shampoo! I am glad to say that we didn't bring any of it home with us! What an ordeal! If you want to read my brother's version of the story, click here! It is a very exaggerated version, but very funny! A great week, but I was glad to be home!

Me up to bat! I got 2 strikes and had to switch to the fat bat! I guess that's what happens when you haven't played for years!
