Swimming Lessons...

Sinjin and Amara started swimming lessons last week and they are having so much fun! They love it that they can to every day of the week. We go up to the Rec Center in Washington City.

Sinjin is in level 2B and he is learning how to swim like Superman and hang off the edge of the pool like Spiderman! He is already floating on his back on his own and can dive for toys at the bottom of the pool. Today they swam through a hula hoop that was submerged in the pool! He did it all on his own! I am so glad that he is comfortable in the water! He loves it!

Amara is in level 3 and she is learning how to do the backstroke and the breaststroke, floating, diving and safety. She is such a little powerhouse! She is so fast and always wins the races a the end of class by about half the length of the pool! Looks like she will be taking after the Burrows girls!! (My nieces)

Cousins come to visit!

My sister Lisa and her kids Caden, Draker and Aidia came to visit us on their way from California to Pleasant Grove. We had a lot of fun playing, taking pictures, eating, and a whole lot of laughing! Caden helped the girls out by fixing their guitar strings for them, and I couldn't resist snaping a few pictures. Later on, the kids set up the tent and they slept in it that night. But before they went to sleep, they played night games with their head lamps, had a pillow fight, and wouldn't stop talking until we threatened them! It was so fun! We only get to see them twice a year for a day if we're lucky, so it's a really special time.

Tait is two numbers!

I cant believe Tait is TEN!! Am I really old enough to have a 10 year old? We love you so much Tait and we are so blessed to have you as a part of our life. I remember when you were born, my first baby. It was such a special day and you had a lot of family members waiting in the hospital to welcome you into the world. You are a very special person Tait. You are loving, caring, funny, trusting and you are so full of faith. You are a strength to our family. We are so proud of who you are and we know you will do very important things in your life. You are so smart and I am glad you have a passion for books. Keep on learning. I can't wait to see you grow into a man!

For Tait's birthday, we were going to be up in northern Utah the day before, so we wanted to have a family party while we were there! It was so much fun! My sister gave me the idea to do an Amazing Race themed party. It was the perfect party for this bunch of kids. They are all Belnap's and Williamson's so they have a lot of cooped up energy! Here are some pictures and explanations about what's going on:

Then the kids had to come in and complete a word search all about Tait, and each an ice cream sandwich. Each team member had to swallow what was in their mouth BEFORE they could cross...

I think the expression on his face say's it all! Christine bought him "The Last Olympian." A book Tait has been begging for ever since it came out a couple of weeks ago. It is the last book in a series called "Percy Jackson and the Olympians." He reads the 300 page books in a few days.

Baptism and Temple

We had the privilege of going to our friends daughters baptism a few Saturday's ago. It was so much fun staying with them in Herriman. After the baptism we went to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple Open House. It was amazing to take my children there. They had never been inside a temple before. It was so beautiful. Their favorite part was the baptismal font. They were so well behaved, I was so proud of them. Afterward we went to Audreys dance recital, so it was a very full day! While we were there, Jared made yummy ribs (I had never tried them before, they were really good!)
