Activity Days girls visit the Temple

It was a lot of fun to go to the Temple grounds with the girls! The leaders asked me if I would come and take pictures of the girls. They are going to mount them on boards to decorate their rooms. These girls are so beautiful! They are full of happiness and life!

Nana and Grandpa Belnap come to visit!

Grandpa Belnap (Thane's dad) works in Afghanistan, so it's rare that we get to spend time with him. This time he and Nana came down to Dixie to visit us! We were so lucky! He came to Tait's 4th grade program, then we took the kids out of school a little early to go and visit the Utah Ice Pit out in the middle of nowhere! Tait couldn't stop asking him about things that he liked or did as a kid. Grandpa spoiled the kids with candy and ice cream and Nana brought gifts. She alway's gives the best stuff! We love you Nana and Grandpa! It means the world to us that you made the trip down to visit us!

4th Grade Program

The 4th grade class put on a program for the parents at the end of the year. It was so neat. They learned songs about UTAH. They learned about all of the settlers, counties, agriculture, geography, etc. It was really interesting to me because I grew up in South Dakota and never learned a lot about Utah's history. Tait is an awesome singer and we could hear his voice over all the kids (or maybe it's just cause we recognize it more)! Way to go Tait!

Amara had to recite a cute poem about her growing up to be a dancer, that's why she is in a beautiful dance costume! Amara loves school and she especially love Mrs. Key. She is such a fun, musical teacher! We were hoping Amara would be put into her class. Amara's friend Ellie was in her class too. She was so lucky to make such good friends in school. She is very smart, and loves reading and math.

On Mothers Day Amara lost her first tooth! She is 6! The oldest one to loose her first.

Cinco de Mayo Fun!

To help us celebrate Cinco de Mayo, we just HAD to make Pinatas! It was really messy, but it was so much fun to get our hands gooey!

Reading by the light of the headlamp...

We love to read books at night, and Sinjin got this cool headlamp for his birthday, so of course, we had to turn the lights off and use it to read our books! It was fun!

Soccer's Last Game :(

Here is Amara and Emery heading for the goal! Amara runs so fast she can catch up with almost everyone on the field! She is a little power house!
