Frist Day of School!

Waiting to go to school, of course they were awake earlier than normal to get ready! Do you remember when you loved school this much? (Sinjin 3, Amara 5, Tiernan 7, Tait 9)

This is Tait and his teacher Mrs. Talbot in 4th grade.

This is Tiernan and her teacher Mrs. Mecham in 2nd grade.

This is Amara and her teacher Mrs. Key in Kindergarten.

Today was Tait (4th grade) and Tiernan's (2nd grade) first day of school. Amara (kindergarten)got to go in for her Kindergarten Treasure Hunt today, and her first real day is on Thursday. She was nervous at first, but now she is very excited! Tiernan's teacher is Mrs. Mecham, she loves frogs and she is the choir director. She has a bathtub in her classroom to read in. She seems very fun. Tiernan has already made a piece of art for her to hang in her classroom. Tait's teacher is Mrs. Talbot. She is a new teacher, but seems very nice and fun. He is very exited to be in the second oldest class in the school. He is done with all that baby suff! Amara got the teacher we hoped she would get. Mrs. Key loves to sing and teach through music and she is a very patient teacher. The kids in her class alway's know what is expected of them and she is a very kind reinforcer. Sinjin had to be in the pictures! He will be going into the 3 year old preschool class beginning on Sept. 2nd! I can't believe how old all of my children are! I can't believe I have a 4th grader. I am feeling very old at this very moment. The kids all asked for a blessing from Thane this morning to help them with thier school year. Isn't that sweet?
