Sinjin's Stitches :(

On Monday, the 3rd of May, poor little Sinjin was trying to keep up with his brother, and he fell on a dirt road and split open the top of his knee :(  We were up on the mountain watching daddy paraglide and the kids decided they wanted to start walking down the road while we were packing up.  That's when the terror began... Tait came walking up the road crying really hard so we drove over to him and he say's "Sinjin fell and cut his leg and I can see the bone!"  So of course we rush down and see poor Tiernan carrying him to us, with a scraped knee herself from falling while carrying him.  We put pressure on it and drove home to clean it.  Right when I saw it I knew it needed stitches.  Thank goodness for the night clinic at our doctors office!  On the way there, Washington City was having their Cotton Days Celebration fireworks, so we had fun watching them while driving.  When we got there the doctor numbed his leg and cleaned out all the gravel, then she put 3 stitches inside and 7 on the top.  It was a rainbow shape.  The whole time Sinjin just lay on the bed reading Diego with me and didn't make one little peep other than helping me count the things in the book.  What a trooper.  When he was all sewed up, the doctor brought out a magnetics Spiderman for Sinjin cause he was such a brave patient!  He was so excited!  Of course, today (Sunday the 16th of May)  Thane couldn't wait any longer, he had to take the stitches out himself.  "Why do we have to pay a doctor to take them out when we can do it ourselves?"  he says.  I say "Cause the doctor told me to come back in to make sure it's healing properly".  It doesn't matter, they are out now and everything is fine now.  Phew!
