Turning 90 is a big deal. Which means the whole family travels to Washington State to celebrate.
We had a "fun" time caravaning up to Grandpa's 90th birthday celebration and all staying in the same hotel. It was great to spend time with him. These pictures were from the day we arrived. They had a picnic ready for us. We had a blast meeting long lost cousins.
Of course we had a soccer game.
And football.
And, whatever this game is called.
And jumping on the tramp. See that huge field behind them, yeah, it was beautiful.
Here is Owen with two of his son's. Steven and Kevin.
Back left, Jared, Thane's brother, Owen and Raelene, Jared's wife.
Kami with grandpa, he is so silly!
Tony, Tait and Tyrell.
Kathy, Owen's second wife with him.
Kade is chillin' on the tramp drinking his bottle.

We are getting ready to go on a walk with grandpa. This is a walk he takes every day. He waves to those who pass him by and he was in the paper for it. They also had him ride in a convertible at the homecoming parade at the High School waving at everyone. Everyone knows him as the waving grandpa.
Here he is telling us all that if a car honks at you, you have to give them a double thumbs up!
Don't you just love his vest with his name on the back?
Waving at the cars with a newspaper reporter to the right taking pictures.
Down main street.
Waiting for the train to cross.
Up a steep hill, no wonder he is still in such great shape.
Holding hands with his grand-daughter.
You know I always have to stop and smell the roses, er, I mean take a picture of anything pretty.

The Party
Some images from a slide show that was played at the party.
Owen was a great woodworker. He loved to spend the day in his shop. Here are some of his creations.
This is his "recipe" for Caramel Popcorn :)
Reading a note from his Great Granddaughter.
Ha ha!

We love our Belnap family and the heritage we can celebrate.
