I'd call this a Family Reunion...

Well, it technically was not a family reunion, but I haven't seen some of these people for a LONG time!!

We start out with Grandpa Erickson. He is Thane's mothers father. His wife taught at Snow College and he also worked there. They just recently moved to the "Point of the Mountain" where it is always windy and they can watch Thane paraglide from their back yard :)

Here is Grandpa Belnap (Owen). He came for Justin's baptism from Washington. We were so glad that we were able to go up and spend time with him. We were able to video record him telling us some stories about the "olden" days. I'll try to post them later. He is Thane's fathers father.

And here is the family (I'm behind the camera) with Grandpa Belnap and his wife Kathy.  Owen's wife passed on a few years ago, and Kathy is such a blessing in his life.

I just had to snap this picture of Amara "helping" grandpa back to his seat.  Like he really needs help, right?  He was just pretending ;)

And here we are with him again the next day at Thane's mother's house.

And back at the family picnic... Tait with Pheonix and Sabria, then below, Sabria and Amara mauling Brittnie.  We are alway's saying, "set her down!!"


Here are the tween girls... wow! It's going to be hard to keep the boys away from this bunch when they turn 16~ What beauties!


After the family picnic, we headed up the A.F. Canyon to Tibble Fork.  We had a lot of fun fishing and goin' out on the inflatable raft.  The weather was perfect and Grandma and Grandpa Belnap got some "rest" in their chairs watching the grandchildren and great grandchildren play.

On Monday, we went up to visit with my mom, Luella, and her two brothers, Marvin (seated with the kids) and John (standing next to Thane).  We visited about not visiting ;)  and about how life is.  After the kids played and we snapped a few pics with the timer (notice the horrible angle of the camera) we decided to head for IKEA to eat some Swedish Meatballs... big mistake, it was Labor Day, Every other store was closed AND it was "kids eat free" day!!  We were in for a long wait.  It was a lot of fun talking to Uncle Marvin as we waited for our food.  I only get to see him about every 2 or 3 years.
